Tampa Bay Study
Task 3: History and Prehistory
Primary Objective: Model the historical and pre-historical
evolution of the Bay to develop the structural setting for
estuarine processes, provide the basis for predictive modeling,
and serve as a guide for restoration planning.
CCMP Goals
Identify & minimize anthropogenic
impacts to Tampa Bay and the wildlife
it sustains. Restore the historic balance
of habitats in Tampa Bay.
