Abstract:

This data set consists of scanned and natural color aerial photography for the Tampa Bay Pilot Study project. Approximately 150 frames have been scanned and saved as both img and jpg files.

Purpose:

To provide current information to use in tracking changes in vegetation and geomorphology in the Tampa Bay watershed. To provide base information for current and future studies.

Logical_Consistency_Report:

Within the scanning process, every other frame was used. This allowed for approximately 20 percent overlap. Within the software programs, all were set to default settings.

Completeness_Report:

Frames to be scanned were selected according to the overlap. Every other frame was used to achieve at least 20% overlap. No additional sources of photography were needed to complete coverage of the area.

Upon acquiring aerial photoshops, frames were selected, scanned using an Epson Expression 1640 XL scanner and Abode Photoshop. The images were scanned at 600 dpi and saved as in a tif format. The images to be served on the Internet were scanned at 300 dpi and converted to a jpeg format.
