Southwest Florida Water Management District Has photography collected for various projects, including seagrass mapping for years 1982, 1988, 1990, 1992, 1994, 1996, 1999, 2001, and 2004. Years 1999 and 2002 were scanned and georeferenced as a joint project with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Tampa Bay Estuary Program, and USGS and can be found in the Tampa Bay Estuary Imagery System.

| U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS) has various digital aerial and satellite imagery resources through Earth Exporer, Global Visualization Viewer (GloVis), and Seamless Data Distribution System (Seamless). |
| The USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) Geospatial Data Gateway is a data viewer that contains imagery and vector data sets. Data are free via FTP, but can also be order on CD and DVD for a fee. |
Terraserver-USA (images provided by USGS) has nation-wide coverage. Tampa Bay area coverage appears to be 2002 and 1998.
