Below is a list of satellite imagery and aerial photography resources provided by the Tampa Bay Study.
For additional resources provided, see our Tampa Bay Aerial Imagery Resources Web page.
Aerial Photography
Tampa Bay aerial photography for several time periods are available in digital format. These data provide important historical information on the land changes within Tampa Bay. The photographic prints were scanned and indexed to create a simple tool for finding and viewing an image for a particular area of the bay. For georeferenced images (referenced to a coordinate system and for use in a GIS) of the above photography, please see the Tampa Bay Estuary Imagery System produced in cooperation with the Tampa Bay Estuary Program and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
Tampa Bay satellite imagery are available for several dates and provide scientists with important information on large-scale land characteristics. For more information on Landsat satellite and data, see the USGS Landsat Web page.
