Tampa Bay Internet Tools Workshop
The Tampa Bay Digital Library and Interactive Mapping System (IMS) are two Internet-based resources for accessing Tampa Bay data and information.

The Tampa Bay Digital Library is an Internet portal for data, documents, and other products. The library centralizes this information and is designed as a "one-stop-shop" for data and information on

Tampa Bay.

In addition, the Tampa Bay Interactive Mapping System is an Internet geographic data-viewing system. Geographic information systems (GIS) on the Internet provides GIS software to a wide audience and is a much more dynamic tool than a static map display or paper map.

Tampa Bay Internet Tools Workshop
These tools do not require any locally installed software, only Web access and an Internet browser.

The Tampa Bay Internet Tools Workshop will train interested professionals how to use these tools in their management and research activities. This course requires no previous knowledge in GIS science or software.
