Introduction

Salinity, dissolved oxygen, pH, and temperature were measured in surface waters (<30 cm depth) throughout Tampa Bay during the months of January, March, May, and July of 2002. Data collected from a continuous flow system allowed for the generation of 120 meter grid cell interpolated Kriging surfaces for the entire Bay. Rates of air to sea CO2 exchange were also measured at 29 sites concurrently with the multiparameter surveys. Current efforts enhance our ability to spatially and temporally monitor important environmental processes in Tampa Bay.
