Item IV. Merging the Data

The NWIs were then merged into one GIS layer (galvbay_utm27.shp) so that analysis could be performed on the entire study area simultaneously.

Item V. The Analysis

Analysis was performed on the study area to determine the amount of natural palustrine wetlands loss—this includes total number of acres, and percentage of total wetlands lost to development.
